She attended the Nova Scotia Agriculture College to aquire her pre-requisite requirements for veterinary school. She then attended the Atlantic Veterinary College of the University of Prince Edward Island where she graduated in 2002.
Erin started her veterinary career as a mixed animal practitioner in southwest Virginia. She moved closer to home and took a job in central Maine in 2004. By 2005, she had married a local dairy farmer! When their first child was born in 2007, Erin decided to come back to work only part time focusing on large animal practice, primarily bovine practice.
She lives with her husband, Tim, and their four children on the dairy farm in Clinton and practices large animal medicine for HVC three days a week.
